Here's your opportunity to see all those people you love so much who attend other worship services, in addition to many of our new members!!  Join us this Sunday, November 19th for Trinity's annual Congregation Thanksgiving Meal.  We will gather together in the gym after all worship services (about 12:30) to enjoy a time of Trinity Family Fellowship and a fantastic meal!  Thank you to Chef Poole and an amazing team of volunteers who make all the great food and get it to the buffet line and clean up after.  We don't have quite enough volunteers yet, so please drop by and see what's needed if you have a few minutes to spare before, during or after the meal.  THANKS!

Serving Lunch at the SCHOOL Thanksgiving Feast
On Tuesday, November 21, our Trinity Lutheran School students, their families, and school ministry staff gather together during the school day for a Thanksgiving Feast - where about 500 plates are served. Rather than asking parents to help out, we'd like to have the Pastoral Team and the Church family come together to serve our school families so they can sit and enjoy the meal together without worrying about the details. What a fantastic opportunity to show our school members of the Trinity Family how much we love and care for them!  Thanks to the Women of the Word Bible Study group for helping with decorations!   We have about HALF the volunteers we need to make it all happen smoothly . Please sign up now so that we know we have a full team of support to serve our school ministry families in this way.  THANK YOU!

Invite Someone to be your guest
We've asked you to be thinking and praying about who you might invite to an Advent Devotion or Christmas Eve Worship Service.  Now you can share an invitation card, with your contact information, and follow up with that invitation to be your guest. Invitation cards are now available in the Narthex, in packs of ten.  Please take just one pack so that we have enough for everyone to share with friends, coworkers and neighbors.

Trinity Shares Christmas - one more family added
THANK YOU to everyone who has taken an ornament from the Angel Tree.  We're off to a great start! After completely emptying the tree of ornaments, we've now added another family of SEVEN children to the tree, so please check back if you missed an ornament the first time. Each ornament contains a gift, food, gift card or donation request, something for everyone. We are again working with Angel Tree Ministries to help incarcerated parents stay in touch with their children by providing gifts in the name of the parent and also by supplying food for a Christmas meal to the children's caretakers.

Please take one or more ornaments to participate in sharing God's love with these families.  If you attend the late service, don't worry that they'll all be gone - ornaments will be replenished after each service this weekend. Please return all donations, with the ornaments, to the cart in the narthex no later than Sunday, Nov. 26, and please do not wrap the presents or remove the backing from the ornaments!  If you have any questions about this program, or if you would like to help with deliveries in December, please contact Glenda Frazier at [email protected].

Sunday Morning Bible Studies
All adults are invited to Sunday Morning Bible Study in Fellowship Hall, meeting from 9:30-10:30. The current study centers on "God's Grace- What is it, How do we get it? How does it change us? What happens when we share it?" Also meeting at 9:30am on Sundays is the Women's Group studying "God's Wisdom for a Mother's Heart." This group meets in the small room behind the main office, along the Loggia Hallway.  Various additional studies are offered during the week.  Visit Church.TrinityDowntown.com/Word for more information.

Rebecca's Garden of Hope
The next opportunity to participate with Rebecca's Garden of Hope will be to contribute to a side dish or dessert for a group of kids and adults engaged in this tutoring outreach on Saturday, December 16th.  The theme is a Christmas Dinner. If you'd like to provide a side dish or dessert, please contact Terry Boggs at [email protected] .  This is a great outreach opportunity open to anyone in the congregation -- lovingly coordinated by Trinity's Outreach Ministry team members.  Additional volunteer dates are available for tutoring and/or meal prep. You can contact Terry or sign up at this link: https://goo.gl/forms/uoEE3PO04YUo5mIJ2

Chick-Fil-A Calendars
Chick-fil-A calendars are available to purchase on campus in the church office, CDC office, and K-8 office for $8 each.  The calendars come with a promotional card offering a free food item each month in 2018 (worth about $25-30 total). The funds raised through the sale of these calendars will benefit two groups of young people on our campus, the Grace Notes children's choir (for their performance polo shirts, sheet music and fellowship events) and the 7 & 8th Grade students (for their Washington D.C. class trip). Great for your family or as a gift for someone else!  Thank you for supporting our Trinity kids through your purchase of these calendars.

Touch a Truck, March 3rd - join us to start planning now!
TAT is our largest campus-wide community outreach event as well as being a very profitable fundraiser for our school. It takes many hands to lighten the workload of this event, so we really need our parents to come to this meeting and find out ways in which they can help out.
The Planning Meeting will be held on November 28 th @ 5:30 pm.  Please see attached flyer for details. If you have any questions email us at: [email protected].  Remember, this is a great way to earn P.R.I.C.E. hours.
