It’s a wrap! We’ve just completed another year of Confirmation instruction with our Trinity youth. What a FANTASTIC group of students, families, and volunteers! The first year, or Jr. class, for all sixth graders, was taught by Mrs. Jenn Blackwood and the Second year, or Sr. class, for all seventh graders was taught by Mr. Tim Norris. About twice a month, everyone came together to share a meal, enjoy some games and fellowship and to work hard on their studies! The first year class completed their studies on the Books of the Bible, the Old Testament, as well as First Communion Instruction. They received their First Communion with their families on Maundy Thursday this year.  The second year class completed their studies in the New Testament, Luther’s Small Catechism, and Lutheran theology.

Congratulations to our Second Year confirmation class of twelve students who were confirmed into membership at Trinity Lutheran Church on Sunday, May 20. Confirmation in the Lutheran Church is a public profession of faith prepared for by long and careful instruction. These twelve students, alongside their parents and confirmation teachers, have gone the extra mile in their studies and spiritual development over the past two years!  Well done!

It was a great fun for everyone involved and we’re so blessed by the support of volunteers who prayed us through, prepared meals, and helped with support needs.  Thanks so much! Many thanks to all those who pitched in to help with meals, snacks, funds, activities and whatever else was needed:  thanks to  for cooking many meals for us and coordinating the remainder of days.  Thank you to Mr. and Mrs. Brink, Dr. and Mrs. Brockberg, Mr. & Mrs. Dittmer, Ms. Grover, Ms. Hoard, Mrs. Malenke,  Mr. and Mrs. Tesch,  Mrs. Frazier, Ms. Trapp, and ladies of Trinity’s LWML!  Thanks for loving our Trinity kids!
