Poinsettia Sponsors
If you'd like to sponsor poinsettia in honor or in memory of a loved one, please complete a sponsorship form in the narthex and leave your donation in the offering plate with a note in the memo line for poinsettias. After Christmas Day worship you are welcome to take your sponsored poinsettia plant home with you!

The Christmas season is often marked by expressions of joy, excitement, and happiness. It's a time when families gather and churches worship together - pointing to the hope that is found in the coming of the Christ child. However, for many, this time of joy and expectation can be overshadowed by the pain and hurt you may be experiencing; when the world's merriment makes your grief and sorrow feel so much more intense and isolating. We'd like to share with you an opportunity to acknowledge that pain, and worship in its presence; to combine fellowship with your loss and celebrate the love of Christ even in the midst of your sorrow or struggle. Please join us for this more solemn service of worship full of hope and understanding. End of Year Giving - 2017 Offering Statements
Offerings which will appear on your 2017 giving statement need to be received on campus by December 31, whether by mail, offering plate or delivered to the finance office. Please note, business offices are closed Dec 23 through January 1, so please plan in advance if mailing. Thank you!
Town Hall Meeting - January 8, 6:30pm
Save the date. Join us for a town hall meeting on Monday, January 8 in the Sanctuary at 6:30pm to review Trinity's Century II campus development plan as it was originally conceived, to take stock of where we currently are, and begin a discussion on how we move forward with campus planning in order to build and support ministry.
Donuts and Devos - MS & HS Bible Study
A Sunday morning Bible Study for youth in Middle-High School will begin on Sunday, January 21, 2018, at 9:30 a.m. in the undercroft Youth Room. Come for treats...stay for truth!
Trinity's Servant Saturday - January 27
The next Servant Saturday, where the Trinity Family goes out into the community to serve others, will be held on Saturday, January 27 at Redeeming Life Outreach Ministries in Sanford, Florida from 9am to 2pm. We will meet at Trinity at 8:15 AM for prep time before heading up to Sanford. Team members may carpool if desired. Please contact Terry Boggs at [email protected] if you are interested in helping out. Some of the areas that are needed for help:

Winter Cleaning
-The living room and kitchen is in need of deep cleaning.
2.
Refurbish Patio
-electrical expertise is needed to add a ceiling fan. If you have a nack for decor, furniture ideas, throw rug, staining or painting metal frames for furniture, etc.
3.
Mommy's Day Out-
Need babysitters (2) to give the moms a few hours without their child (16 yrs and above)
4.
Swing
-Knowledge of staining a wooden swing
5.
2nd Patio
-carpentry to add counter space for kitchenette, decor, electrical expertise
There will be a meeting after the first of the year to go over jobs in more detail before heading up to Redeeming Life. More information to follow.

Babysitting 12/16
Unfortunately, due to lack of interest, the babysitting event had to be cancelled.
Caregivers Workshop
Caring for a family member or friend with a chronic condition can be physically, emotionally, and financially draining. In a small group setting, this FREE 6-week course is designed to build the skills caregivers need to take better care of themselves, as they provide care for others. Classes will be held at Westminster Towers every Friday from February 1 - March 8. Classes will begin at 10:00 a.m. and last about 90 minutes each. The sessions will be held in our lounge and co-led by our local staff: Alex Mookerjee (Magnolia Towers) and Cheryl Bond (Westminster Towers). Call to RSVP NOW - 407.843.9591
Food on the Fifth
December has five Sundays and so we'll be collecting canned and boxed goods to donate to the Concord Street Church of Christ food pantry on the fifth Sunday of this month! Please start collecting those BOGO specials and set aside those gifts for the collection at the end of the month. On fifth Sundays we also take up a collection for the Pastor's Discretionary fund which allows the pastoral office to assist those in financial crisis. If you would like to contribute, please not on your gift that it is for the "Pastor's Discretionary Fund".
CPR & First Aid Training
Trinity is hosting CPR and First Aid Training which is open to Trinity families and staff February 17, from 9am-12pm here on campus. The special reduced cost for the class is $20 per person. If you would like to sign up, please email [email protected] or call the office and ask to speak with Meridith Swanson by February 2. Payment is required in advance. $20 cash or check will be accepted; checks should be made payable to Trinity.

Call Process Update
: We conducted two phone interviews and liked both candidates. One came for a visit the Wednesday after we conducted phone interviews (the Wednesday before Irma hit). We had to go on a little hiatus after Irma hit due to campus being closed. During this time, the pastor that did not come for a visit pulled his name from our call list stating that he felt that he was not done with his work at his current church. The call committee met and did not feel strongly about calling our remaining candidate. So now we are back to square one - waiting on names from the District and possibly putting our name on the list for a pastor right out of the Seminary.
Please continue to keep Live in your prayers
as we move forward and decide how best we can serve the young adults in Central Florida and that we would place the right man at Live in order to help complete this job.
We plan on getting next semester off on the right foot with daily activities planned for the first week back.
Worship begins again on January 10 at 7:30.
We are just waiting to hear our room number. You are always welcome to worship with us.
