Loving our Neighbors
Trinity hosted a bake sale this morning to support our friends at Handy Pantry on Amelia St. The owners have both been challenged by medical issues and have had to close their store on multiple occasions and we're reaching out to provide some neighborly support.  The bake sale will carry over to worship services this weekend so you can participate!  YOUR support would be greatly appreciated.  Please stop by the Narthex and purchase some homemade baked goods for home, friends or family!

Ensuring our Guests in Worship Feel Welcome
Greeters and Ushers are spiritual ambassadors for the Church and serve as representatives of Jesus in a worship service. For both members and guests it's an important part of coming into worship each week.  Even more so for guests, it shares the warmth and personality of the congregation overall and let's people know that they matter and that we welcome them into Worship at Trinity.  Greeters meet people at the door with a smile and a brief word, and ushers serve to hand out worship materials, answer questions, give directions.  Both are such important roles to the ministry of Trinity.  If you are gifted in hospitality and would enjoy serving in this way, please contact Omar Dittmer for greeting ( [email protected] ) or Joyce Phillips for ushering ( [email protected] )  Thank you.

Public Comment Meeting Regarding New Construction Proposed on Livingston Street
At a recent Lake Eola Heights Neighborhood Association (LEHNA) General Membership Meeting a presentation was shared about a proposed project on the triangle "wedge" at Livingston and Rosalind across from Trinity. At the recommendation of Commissioner Sheehan, and as requested by the developer, a public comment meeting has been set for Tuesday August 29th at 7PM . The meeting will be held in Trinity's Fellowship Hall.

Trinity members are invited to attend with our LEHNA neighbors to express your comments and concerns on how you perceive the development would affect the residential quality of life of the Lake Eola Heights Historic Neighborhood Association. The LEHNA Board will be in attendance to record opinions and comments from which they will formulate a consensus of the neighborhood's concerns.

A Note from our 6pm Organist, Sandy Zaccagnini
I want to thank all the wonderful parishioners and board members at Trinity for such a warm and welcoming place to worship and serve our risen Lord together! I pray that Trinity Lutheran Church continues to grow! David Ludwig is fantastic in every way and will be a blessing to Trinity worship. God Bless you ALL! Respectfully, Yours in Christ, Mrs. Sandra Zaccagnini

Urgent Prayer Requests
If you have an urgent prayer request that can't wait until you fill out a yellow prayer card during worship, please submit it via email to [email protected] .  While submitting a yellow card during worship is still the preferred way to share prayer requests, sometimes a prayer need can't wait until Sunday.  Your prayer request (first name and basic details of the prayer requested) will be shared with a team of committed weekday prayer warriors and will also be added to Trinity's regular printed prayer list for the congregation.  All prayers are kept on the printed list for a period of three weeks, so please resubmit long term prayer needs regularly so that they stay on the printed list. Thank you.

Trinity just received a check for $61K thanks to YOU !  Your invesment accounts with LCEF earn a Shared blessings rebate for Trinity.   If you haven't already, please consider opening an LCEF savings account.  The more investors mean the higher the rebate check will be next year.  Savings account investments start as low as $25 for children under 18 and $100 for adults.   If your child is new to Trinity Lutheran School in either the CDC or K-8 programs Trinity will donate $25 to start the account.  Adult investment accounts with LCEF benefit Trinity in the same way the Youth Investor accounts do, so parents and church members, you can participate as well!  You can apply online at LCEF.org .  For more information, please contact Bruce Hahn at 407-701-3234 or email [email protected] .
