CDC Choir Sings in Church
This weekend at the 9:30 am contemporary service, the PreK3 and VPK children from Trinity Lutheran School's Child Development Center will be gracing us with their adorable presence and joyful song offerings. Following the service, all Trinity families are welcome to join these CDC students in the courtyard for a snack and a Christ centered craft. Let's plan to warmly welcome these school families who will be visiting us with their children that morning.

YOU are a blessing. Thank you!
Your incredible generosity filled TWO FULL SHOPPING CARTS with food to give to the food pantry at Prince of Peace. YOU are a blessing! Thank you for responding to this ongoing need in our community.  We also received $250.00 to add to the Pastoral Discretionary Fund to help people in urgent financial distress. THANK YOU all for taking part in "Food & Funds on the Fifth." (Next 5th Sunday is in June)

Lenten Worship
Join us this coming Wednesday for our last Lenten devotion on "People of Prayer: Esther, Elijah, and Jesus" at either 12:10 pm and 7:00 pm.
Please note: Soup Supper for April 10 has been cancelled due to lack of volunteer coverage.

Who will You Invite to Easter Worship
A personal invitation is the most effective way to ask someone to come to church. Next week we'll have an invitation and Peeps available for you to share as a gift with one friend, asking them to join their Trinity "Peeps" in Worship.  It's a fun, pressure-free way to connect with someone who hasn't been to church in a while. Please be thinking about to whom you may want to give that invitation.

Servant Saturday: Campus Work Day
Please join your Trinity family in service to our Lord, being faithful stewards of the blessings He has provided to us. We are blessed with this beautiful 5.2 acre campus which takes a lot of care and upkeep - and the more people we get to gather together to knock out some spring cleaning before Easter, the faster it will go. Saturday, April 13, from 8:30 to 11:30am. We will concentrate on yard work and a few cleaning projects around campus. Coffee, water and donuts will be available. Feel free to bring your own snacks too.  Thank you.

IDignity Lenten Can Project - Bring 'em back next week
On Palm Sunday, all the individual cans will be collected and the proceeds will be given to IDignity, a non profit that helps to restore dignity and hope by providing identification to those in need. Once a person has restored their identity with IDignity's assistance, doors open to numerous opportunities that were not available to them without identification.

100th Anniversary Event Planning - Want to Help?
It's been a busy year here at Trinity, and planning for the 100th Anniversary has taken a back seat to many other urgent matters. Now is the time to regroup and get excited about celebrating our history, thanking God for all he has provided and seen us through, and preparing for our second century of ministry! Mark your calendars for Saturday, September 14 and Sunday, September, 15. That Saturday evening will be a Gala dinner event here on campus - wonderful food, music, fellowship, as we give thanks to God and remember & celebrate our Trinity history! Sunday will be one combined worship service for the entire Trinity family followed by a light brunch as we open a time capsule now buried in the wall of the Sanctuary, see what's there, and then bury a new one that will be opened by another generation of Trinity members years from now. If you'd like to be involved in planning/getting quotes/running errands/shopping/price checking/sharing ideas for the gala or time capsule, please contact Chanda ASAP at  TLC@TrinityDowntown.com or 407-488-1919 x101.

Easter Lilies
The flowers that make Trinity especially beautiful during Easter worship are provided by members of our Trinity family who wish to remember loved ones, or simply express special thanks to God. The names of contributors and people remembered will be published the first weekend after Easter. Sign up forms are in the Narthex - return to offering plate or church office. (Suggested donation of $12 each)

Mystery Dinner Theater - Don't Miss This!
Youth from Trinity Downtown and Prince of Peace are proud to present the hysterical and riveting murder mystery dinner theater, "Death by Chocolate." Proceeds from this event help send youth to the National Youth Gathering held in Minneapolis, Minnesota this summer. Tickets are $15 if purchased in advance, or $20 at the door. Free childcare is available for children ages 6-weeks through 5th grade (RSVP required by Wednesday, April 10). Doors to the Family Life Center will open at 4:00 pm and the event will begin promptly at 4:30 pm.

Members of the newly renovated Meadowbrook Health Resort are dropping like flies, including famed chef Edith Chiles! On the eve of the grand re-opening, this is not the best advertisement! It's up to John Stone, the manager, to find the cause and the murderer. "Death by Chocolate" combines all the elements of classic murder mysteries with scathing satires of today's health crazes.

The Youth are serving a plated dinner of salad, spaghetti, and garlic bread. For dessert, satisfy your sweet tooth at the Chocolate Buffet! Learn more and purchase tickets at  www.poporlando.com/event/DinnerTheater

Please let us know!
Please let your Trinity family know of any scheduled surgery or hospital stay.  In addition to scheduled procedures, please give the church office a call to let us know about extended illness, unplanned hospital stays, or even the birth of a child.  You can call the office at any time and leave a message-no need to wait until business hours (407-488-1919 x101). During business hours, that information can then be forwarded to the appropriate caregivers.  For an emergency that requires the care of a Pastor after hours or over the weekend call or text us at 407-490-7339 and leave a message. We'll get back to you ASAP. We want to be sure to know when you need us-whether to pray with you before a scheduled procedure, sit with you during a loved one's procedure, pray for you while you recover, visit you in the hospital/at home or to share praise and thanksgiving prayers for good news/results. Just let us know.  Thank you.

Urgent Prayer Requests
If you have an urgent prayer request that can't wait until you fill out a yellow prayer card during worship, please submit it via email to  Pray@TrinityDowntown.com.  While submitting a yellow card during worship is still the preferred way to share prayer requests, sometimes a prayer need can't wait until Sunday.  Your prayer request (first name and basic details of the prayer requested) will be shared with a team of committed weekday prayer warriors and will also be added to Trinity's regular printed prayer list for the congregation.  All prayers are kept on the printed list for a period of three weeks, so please resubmit long term prayer needs regularly so that they stay on the printed list. Thank you.
