Thank you Susie, Gracie, Hannah, Katie, Ruthie, Barnabas, Jacob, Phoebe, Jewel, Mahlah, Kye, and Sasha.

Thank you to Lutheran Church Charities’ K-9 Comfort Dog program for responding so quickly and sharing love and comfort with the residents of Orlando.  From all over the country, into Orlando hospitals, fire departments, the Mayor’s office, the Venue, news stations, worship services, prayer vigils, Trinity’s childcare classrooms, summer camp and even the summer Sunday school…  Thank you so much – to the pups and to their people.

Week Two:

The first team listed above headed home from Orlando on Monday morning June 20, and the second team is in Orlando now.  Eddie Comfort Dog from Peace Lutheran – Grand Island, Nebraska, Cubby Comfort Dog– Redeemer, Colorado, and Zoey Comfort Dog– Concordia University Wisconsin have all traveled to Orlando to spread the mercy, compassion, presence, and proclamation of Jesus Christ. They are already out serving the Orlando community and will be here until Monday, June 27.

Please keep everyone in your prayers.  The comfort dog names are linked to their Facebook pages, so you can follow their activites while they’re in Orlando.  Please keep in mind that the Comfort Dog Ministry is supported entirely through donations and does not charge for services.  If you’re interested in contributing, you may do so here.  Thank you.
